Tupelo Ballet Academy offers training programs geared towards serious ballet students upcoming in grades 5th through 12th, who have a passion for dance and are ready to pursue a higher level of artistic excellence. Our dance pedagogy is truly distinctive to TBA, retaining traditional methods of classical ballet while integrating the dynamic and technical aesthetic of the Balanchine style.
Summer students will participate in a well-rounded selection of classes, varied by level, with a tentative schedule as follows:
9:30-10:00 Conditioning/Warm-Up
10:00-11:30 Ballet Technique
11:30-12:30 Lunch/Private Coaching/Rehearsal
12:30-1:30 Pointe/Variation
1:30-2:30 Enrichment Elective--Choice of Two: Tap, Contemporary, Teacher Training, Acting for Dancers, Musical Theatre, Competition Prep
Faculty includes Tupelo Ballet Academy instructors and guests Matthew Kiel (June 8-11) and Lori Wilson (June 15-18).​​

Learn to transition from student dancer to creator during this Choreography Intensive, while exploring the "why" behind every movement. Participants will dive deep into musicality, spatial awareness, and the mechanics of transition, learning how to weave technical steps into compelling stories. Tentative schedule as follows:

1:00--2:00 New Piece Rehearsal
2:00--3:00 Free Studio for Independent Rehearsal
