2026 Nutcracker Auditions

Welcome to Tupelo Ballet's audition page for The Nutcracker! We're excited to see talented dancers like you ready to join us in presenting this holiday classic to the Tupelo community. Here, you'll find all the essential details about the auditions and what to expect, so please make sure to read all information. Be sure to submit your registration online by Thursday, July 30, 5pm, by clicking on the green registration box.

Nutcracker Registration

CAST MEMBER FEES

Registration fee is $35 per student and this fee must be paid to audition.

If you do not have a credit card on file with your Jackrabbit account, please bring a check with you to the audition made out to Tupelo Ballet.
All cast members will be responsible for a $25 costume rental fee (per student) and a $25 video fee (one per family).

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals will take place on Sunday afternoons, beginning in September. Schedules will be posted and emailed on a bi-weekly basis.
Rehearsals are mandatory. After two absences, roles may be re-cast. No absences are allowed during performance week.

PERFORMANCES

Thursday, December 3--Dress Rehearsal (afternoon)
Friday, December 4--Performance for local schools (morning)
Friday, December 4--Dress Rehearsal (evening)
Saturday, December 5 (2pm, 7:30 pm) and Sunday December 6 (2pm)--Public Performances
